Hobi & Moon | Day Two- Early Evening
Moon knew Hobi was scared. He was more scared than Moon had ever seen him before. This was also the first time that he really really needed to do the thing that scared him. Moon squeezed his boyfriend's hands for only a moment before Hobi was throwing his arms around him and kissing him deeply. There was no hesitation to kiss him back. Even if there had been someone around Moon wouldn't have hesitated to kiss him back.
Hobi didn't really give Moon a chance to reassure him that he loved him. Hobi knew he did but as his boyfriend began to run towards the edge of the cliff Moon felt his own anxiety pick up. He suddenly had a million thoughts of things he should have said or done just in case. his own heart was in his throat as Hobi was suddenly airborne and then falling. He had barely been aware of his own feet moving, Rushing to the edge of the cliff so he didn't lose sight of him.
He had to wait until Hobi hit the water. He just needed to wait that long. It was too much of a risk that the demon would call foul if he didn't wait. not that waiting was that much of a problem as feathery wings suddenly appeared. HObi had wings?! The appearance of the appendages momentarily shocked Moon just enough that he was still motionless a half-second after Hobi hit the water.
Then the shock was gone and Moon was filled with an overwhelming need to get to him. He knew his boyfriend would be panicking and he wouldn't find his way to the surface on his own. Moon leaped off the cliff with no hesitation and took a large breath of air just before he hit the water. Still, it was disorienting to land in the dark water and it took him a moment to get turned around.
It only took a moment for Moon to find Hobi, he had landed not that far from him after all, but it took longer to actually grab the other young man. The wings that were surely trying to help him were not helping Moon's efforts to reach him. Finally, Moon abandoned trying to reach for an arm or a hand. Instead, he simply grabbed hold of the wing and swam up.
It wasn't until they had broken the surface of the water that Moon was actually able to find his way through the feathery wings. Hobi wasn't initially responsive and Moon shook him a little as his arm wrapped around Hobi's waist.
"Hobi!" he voices practically begging his eyes to open, "Hosekie!" he tried again as he swam towards the shore, pulling Hobi with him.
