Juno & Dru | Day 2, After the Quarantine
Juno didn't really consider how stupid he might or might not have looked once the idea took root in his mind. He had somehow forgotten he was completely bare assed naked when he started to play air guitar, and therefore he was playing air guitar naked. He had never really been that susceptible to embarrassment or shame, which was one of the rare advantages of growing up with the family he had, so he was able to ignore the stares and giggles and whispers even if he had been able to hear them. It wasn't until Dru stopped him did everything occur to him all at once, making his cheeks flush.
"Right? It is downright criminal," he confirmed, pleased that she seemed to agree. Or at the very least she wasn't mocking him. Juno couldn't be entirely sure of that last fact, but she was smiling and still willing to talk to him so she couldn't be making too much fun of him. Right? He was a bit distracted by that smirk on her lips, and the memory of how it had felt to kiss them, and Juno just really hoped that he could stop staring soon so she didn't notice the effect thinking about her had on him thanks to how...exposed he was.
He found himself mentally willing that not to happen so fiercely that he missed her invitation entirely the first time. Dru was far too close now that he thought about it, and he could only imagine what the onlookers would do if he allowed himself to get excited. It was probably the only thing that could happen that would cause him true mortification too, so when it finally registered that Dru wanted him to go to her room with her, he found himself nodding with what was probably way more than an acceptable amount of enthusiasm.
"I would love that actually. Particularly the music part," he said, a genuine smile on his lips and that unique accent (a mix of his native southern roots and the New Zealand that he'd spent a lot of his younger years in) making his words seem even more eager. "Do you think you might have something I can wear?" he asked as they walked, focused on her face in the hopes that his thoughts wouldn't wander and cause any incidents.
