Re: Hobi & Moon | Day Two- Early Evening
The walk was easy. Too easy. There should have been people or things preventing them from making it to the cliffs outside. Not that Moon would have let them stop them. Why would they? Would they prefer everyone died because they were prevented from getting to where they needed to go? that didn't make sense.
If it wasn't for the circumstances Moon would have considered the night a beautiful one despite the cool breeze that made him want to pull Hobi close to him. Despite the dark there was no difficulty in seeing each other and scene around them. The colorful ley lines mixed with the light from the Moon and stars to light up the night and cast Hobi in the most perfect soft light. Moon made no move to pull his hand away from his boyfriend's he could feel the other man's fear. He would do anything to make it go away.
Before he found the right words Hobi beat him to it. the soft skin of Hobi's hands was warm against his skin as his partner moved his hand to his face. But hobi's fear was in his words and his voice as he spoke. It almost felt like Hobi was trying to say goodbye without actually saying the words. Moon's hands moved to his boyfriend's face, gently moving his thumb over his cheek.
"And you are my sun," he answered him softly before leaning in to kiss his boyfriend sweetly. when the kiss broke he didn't move far away. Instead, he stayed close and held Hobi's eyes with his. "Have I ever broken a promise to you?" he asked. the question may have seemed random at the moment but it definitely wasn't. He waited only long enough for Hobi to shake his head no. It was true that Moon would avoid making promises from time to time but he had never broken one.
"I am promising you, everything will ok," he told him while his eyes didn't move from his. Both his face and his voice were serious but full of commitment to his statement. He would keep that promise. THere was nothing in this world that could stop him. He already had a plan in mind to make sure it was kept.
