Lyrica & Devon | AFTER MIDNIGHT
At the way he so confidently told her that he'd never been so sure of anything, made her smile widen as she leaned back against him. That smile only grew as his lips pressed into the curve of her neck and shoulder and Lyrica was pretty sure she'd smiled as much as she was right now.
It seemed so silly to have been as upset and angry about Hendrix and his new girl, with the way Devon so easily made her feel like she was the most important thing in the world to him. And then he was turning her around, arms wrapped around her as he smiled at her, making her insides feel as if a million butterflies were trapped inside. Gentle lips pressed into hers sweetly and she positively melted into him, the sweet way he kissed her making her feel emotions and sensations she'd never experienced.
With Lyrica, in all her other previous relationships it was about sex and passion, and this affection and level of emotion was new and absolutely intoxicating. A soft sigh escaped her red lips as he gently pulled away and she almost pulled him back to her when he spoke and she paused to look up at him as he started, bumbling through his define the relationship moment in true Devon Wayland fashion. The affectionate smile that returned to Lyrica's lips gave away her answer before she actually spoke as she slid delicate hands up his chest to wind her arms around his neck.
"Only if its alright if I call you my boyfriend," she replied as she leaned in to kiss him softly, wanting to alleviate that nervous way his lips twitched up, giving away how nervous he was about her possible answer. The radiant smile she beamed up at him was teasing as she added, "Its more then okay, Devon. I want nothing more then to be your girlfriend."
Again there was more of this new sweet kissing that sent such an intense warmth and fluttery feeling all through Lyrica's body. The fox was breathless as they came up for air and she gazed up at him from under her long lashes, dark gold eyes seeing in his eyes all the things she'd never realized she wanted from another. Devon looked at her like she was the only one he saw. He looked at her the way she had seen Hendrix looking at Renette earlier that evening. And realizing this sent such a wave of emotion through her, Lyrica didn't know what to do with it. And if she had seen her own face, she would have been surprised at the way her own walls had slipped just like that, letting him in. That she was looking at him with a mirrored image of affection and adoration.
A soft smile slipped onto her lips and she reached a hand up his face, caressing his soft skin before she ran her delicate finger along his lips.
"I don't know what you do to me, Devon, but I've never felt like this with anyone else," she whispered. "You make me feel beautiful, the way you look at me."
