Lennox & Sev | About 11pm
She used to be able to read him so well. Even when everyone else thought he was completely unreadable or understandable at all, Lennox was able to. She used to be able to tell what he was thinking just by the smallest nuance in his expressed. Used to was the keyword of that. she was suddenly very aware of how distant they had become. She was still in love with him but they were nowhere near as close they once were. It was probably why she found it so very disconcerting that she couldn't tell what he was thinking when he looked at her. Did he not want to try to rebuild things? No, she still knew him. If he didn't want to he wouldn't be speaking to her right now. He would have simply walked away. She had to trust that.
Lennox cocked her head slightly as he answered about his cousin. She was 19? and she needed a caretaker? Sev read her confusion and thankfully didn't make her ask for more information. she couldn't hide the surprise on her face as he explained more. THIS was a lot of information. A lot of heavy information and honestly it almost sounded like a movie.
"If I didn't know you better I would honestly think you were messing me." She told him. She honestly wasn't entirely sure how she felt about the whole thing. "Have you ever actually met her?" she asked. She was trying not to focus on everything else and instead focused on the relationship he could build with a new member of family. But there was one piece that she really couldn't stop thinking about.
"you wont be in the dorms?" she repeated. Her thoughts immediately went to the number of times recently she had snuck into his room to sleep just because she couldn't escape the nightmares and the sleeplessness. She chastised herself for being selfish. Why the fuck was she always so selfish.
"Where are you going to get all of your excitement when you don't have Tylen pushing you out of your comfort zone?" she teased him playfully. "I would see everything. Your house has always had so much potential."
