Lennox & Sev | About 11pm
Sev found himself looking at Lennox with a unreadable expression on his face as she told him that she still wanted to hear what was going on for him. Again a hum of acknowledgement escaped him. So she wanted to fix things? He didn't dare let himself hope that they could rebuild a relationship, Lennox had made it clear he was her friend and now Sev understood the value of just that. He'd take whatever he could when it came to what she could or would give him.
As she asked about his cousin, he smirked, knowing she was assuming the girl was young or a child if Byron required his help.
"Nineteen," he answered. At Lennox's puzzled look he took pity on her and explained more, sipping from his drink. "She is on the outskirts of the family. Another half blood, but she's plagued by spirits and in this her family ended up dead. Murdered." His eyes stayed on Lennox to gauge her reaction.
"She is a true medium. A channel if you will. Spirits can speak through her, write or draw. She can be possessed if she isn't careful." Severian kept his eyes on Lennox.
"Skylar was committed at the age of sixteen for the murder of her family. Byron believes her story of spirits and demons and has arranged her release to family." Casually he added, "She'll be arriving next week. I'll be moving back into the family home with her, since we decided a roommate at school wouldn't be optimal."
Sev knew this was a lot for Lennox to take in. "You should come see the renovations and restoration of the house, Byron did. The library is amazing." He looked wistful for a moment. "I'm going to miss living with Tylen though."
Absently he wondered if Tylen and Thea might want to move into the large rambling old house with him. Probably not, right? That'd be weird.
