Maria & Davin | AFTER MIDNIGHT
It wasn't hard to keep track of Maria without her knowing he was doing so. She wasn't the most in tune creature he'd ever met. Sometimes she'd look up from her dancing with her red headed best friend and around as if she was looking for someone or could feel his dark eyes on her. But Davin was a really good hunter, staying out of her range of vision. But he'd be lying if he said he didn't know she was looking for him. And it pleased him. Let her look for him. Midnight came and he still didn't move in on her, because it wasn't about that, and those midnight kisses that showered her from eager men didn't make him jealous. They weren't getting more then that from her and it was clear the way she was with them that none of them had REALLY kissed her, not the way he had.
The way he could.
The way he would.
As she suddenly disentangled from bevy of boys hanging about her, Davin didn't move from where he was leaning against a wall of The Whiskey, watching her. She felt his eyes and she paused in her pursuit of her friend, circling as she looked for the eyes on her, his eyes. Their eyes met and that wicked smile of her, lit the fire of desires in him that she already inspired. Moving through the crowd she appeared beside him with s teasing smile as she asked if he had missed his midnight kiss.
"Midnight kisses are so amateur," he answered with an arched eyebrow as he moved from his spot on the wall to pin her against the wall, eyes raking down her barely covered body covered in rhinestones and sheer netting.
