REN & KEY | JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT
"Don't worry," he smiled at her brightly. "I'll help you with whatever you need, Ren. And the honorifics aren't so bad once you get used to it." Key's smile matched hers in wattage and was completely unaware of how different he was around her, how she made him feel new things. And as she answered his questions about Luthor he found himself nodding at her, sympathetic to her plight.
"Class is important to some people," he commented lightly. The boys knew very little about the politics of the world they inhabited, sure they knew royalty and some important family names, but Key paid little attention to it. They weren't really in those circles, even though Jingi was the phoenix heir's roommate, and he was here at the party with a dragon princess who was teaching their youngest about his own people and powers.
"We grew up in an orphanage all together. Spent some time on the streets when we were old enough to get away. Those class divides are very obvious when you've seen that." He didn't think about the fact that such personal information had just slipped out, as he NEVER talked about their past, his past with anyone really. But she was sharing personal things and it had just come out. But he moved past it as she asked about watching it in real time. He explained how to do so, then laughed, saying he'd make sure to text her all the information and the website to watch it on.
"Well I, Yeo Ki-bum , promise to wink just for you, Ferren." He was smiling, his nose scrunched up as he did. She glanced over her shoulder then asked where Haejin had gone. Key glanced around, then shrugged. "Maybe he went for a walk? He does get sentimental about holidays and snow."
"I saw him talking to Sooki noona earlier. He's had a crush on her for years. I bet he has a picture of her in his locker at the Army base."
