SIWON & HANA | AROUND MIDNIGHT
It seemed like an eternity until the older girl said she would accept his gift, but really it was probably only a span of thirty seconds. Siwon smiled and it was a wide, toothy grin showing how pleased he was, much different from when he was usually around his noona, all shy and awkward. He bowed his head in gratitude then watched as she unwrapped the gift slowly, careful not to wreck the wrapping. Siwon almost told her half the fun was ripping open the paper, but he didn't want to tell her how to unwrap her own gift.
The younger boy was chewing on his lower lip as she opened the box, careful and meticulous in the way she examined the gifts, her eyes lighting up as she saw all the details he'd thought of. Siwon said nothing as he sat just watching her, on nervous pins and needles because he couldn't read her feelings or thoughts. His eyes stayed on her as he raised a thumb to his lips, chewing on the nail as she raised the scrapbook in her hands. It was obvious she loved them, but was it too much? Was his crush too obvious? Would she be offended or upset at his assumption of giving her such an extravagant gift?
As those beautiful eyes returned to Siwon's her smile made him smile too, lowering his finger from his mouth. And just as suddenly she was pressing a sweet kiss to his cheek and he couldn't keep the surprised, dumbfounded look off his face. The younger blinked at her several times, mouth agape, cheeks coloring obviously, no words coming as she told him happily that the gifts were wonderful, thanking him and asking how he knew she loved to take photos. This was what moved the psychic out of his stupor at the kiss and was able to answer her, finding his voice.
"I didn't, but I know you travel as often as we do and I use my own cameras to capture memories so I can hold onto them forever," he said softly, his grey eyes on her beautiful face. "I wanted you to be able to keep all your memories as well." The younger boy smiled at her. "I have so many scrapbooks full of the places we've been, the things we've seen and done, even before we were idols." Siwon had actually insisted on all of the books being shipped here so they were with him where he spent most of his time, afraid to leave them alone in Seoul. For him home was where ever his family was and they were here. Even Haejin was here now, even if only temporary.
Siwon took one of the cameras, the newer model one from the box and asked if he could open it for her. At her smile and nod, he took it out of the box and inserted the camera film. Turning so he his back was to her and he was holding the camera aloft, he knew exactly how and where to hold the camera from experience to get the perfect picture of the two of them, grinning like fools at the camera. Then as he put that one to develop on top of the couch, he held it up again, this time making a silly face at the camera hoping noona would follow suit.
