NICCA & ALEX | A little over 2 months after the Supermoon
WHO: Nicca & Alex
WHEN: A little over two months after the Supermoon
WHERE: Alex's dorm room
WHAT: Nicca's skipped a few periods.
RATING: Medium for language and content.
Nicca couldn't say how many times she'd started a text to Alex, before deleting it again. Over and over and over again. Even when he would send her a text, she'd start her text then delete it and start again before abandoning it and tossing her phone somewhere in frustration. It wasn't that she didn't want to see Alex, she did, more then she was entirely comfortable with, but there was something she hadn't told him, something she'd been fighting with the last few months.
She was pregnant.
The shifter had taken an entire box worth of tests and all of them seemed to mock the dancer with the positive mark on the stick. She'd made herself sick over the realization, what it meant to her and her career, what it could mean for her and Alex, what her mother and sister might think. But no amount of freaking out could make it go away. So she'd made an appointment at a clinic in Los Angeles, took the bus into the city, only to nt follow through. And she couldn't quite figure out what it was that was her hang up, wether it was her feelings about Alex and how he'd feel about the idea of them having a child, or it was something more. She knew deep, deep down that her feelings for Alexandre were heavier then she'd admit to him or even herself. If she did this without his knowledge, it was betraying him. And that was something she wasn't comfortable with.
Somehow she had summoned the courage to face him and walked to his dorm, dressed in the cutest outfit she could think of, for her own mental health of course. She stood outside his dorm for longer then she was comfortable with before she raised a hand and knocked confidently. Nicca had already gone over this a million times in her head, all the ways this could work out, what she could say and she was pretty sure he couldn't surprise her. And as he answered the door, everything she'd practiced had flew from her head and she only managed to smile at him, the smile not quite meeting her eyes.
"Can I come in? We need to talk about something," she managed to say.
