Luke and Hope | Bonfire | 8pm
Hope didn't think that her day could have been any better than it was. In all honesty, the tiny blonde didn't think she'd been this happy in a long time. Being able to spend quality time with friends, both new and old, and with Faith, meant the world to her. But even beyond that, having Luke agree to come was the icing on the cake. She hadn't expected such easy agreement on his part, but Hope had noticed a slight softening to his attitude over the last few months. It was something that Ryan had remarked on as well. Neither mentioned it to Luke though, both of them content with the knowledge that a bit of the elder Danvers' demons appeared to have been banished.
The lithe little ballerina had dressed in a fairly conservative, but feminine maxi dress, her blonde hair pulled back into a low messy bun. Hope wasn't one to be 'done up' so she was fairly make-up free; instead just a shimmery glow of her homemade sunblock kissing her skin. She'd worn her new bikini beneath her dress, and had surprised Luke with how revealing it was as they took a dip during the heat of the afternoon. The rest was filled with drinks, and games, and chatting. On and on it went until Hope felt she was filled to the brim in every aspect.
Not once did she notice the moments where Luke was distracted. Speaking of...Hope smiled broadly as she felt her boyfriend's strong hand creep around her waist. Glancing up at him, she nodded as he asked if she'd like to take a break with him. Hand in hand the two moved off toward the large bonfire, taking seats in the soft sand. Leaning over, Hope kissed Luke softly on the lips with a sigh, "We don't have to stick around if you're ready to go, you know."
