Hobi & Moon: 11pm (OPEN)
As Moon dropped to the sand beside him, Hobi felt a new flash of warmth move through him and he grinned up at the twinkling night sky. His head fell to the side, resting against the top of Moon's head as he used Hoseok's outstretched arm as a pillow. Making a soft sound of frustration at the hat in his peripheral vision, he plucked it unceremoniously off Moon's head, dropping it on top of his own on the other side of Moon's body. He made a soft hum of satisfaction and leaned his cheek against the crown of Moon's soft hair. The scent of his shampoo hit his nose and Hobi made a soft sigh of contentment he didn't even realize came from him.
As Moon pointed up at the sky, at a falling star he saw, Hobi looked up, catching the sight himself, a wide grin breaking out on his face as he looked up.
"Make a wish Moon-ah," he said, warmth coloring his voice. Hobi squeezed his own eyes closed and wished with all his heart that his best friend and person he loved more then anything in the world would be happy and that whatever he wished for would come true for him. When he opened them again he glanced down at Moon's face, illuminated in the warmth of the tiki's scattered along the beach and the cool starlight. His skin was almost luminescent in his paleness, so opposite Hobi's warm skin tone. Hobi knew it was soft to the touch, but stopped himself from reassuring himself of this. His long lashes seemed to kiss his cheeks while his eyes were closed, but then he opened them and looked up at Hobi, his dark eyes seeming to drown Hobi in how intense they always were.
Hobi was grinning like an idiot, but this wasn't new and it was a step above the fact that all he wanted to do was everything in power to make Moon smile like that forever, with that carefree, open, almost innocent smile he only ever seemed to have around Hobi. Without thinking Hobi traced a slender finger along Moon's cheek bone, highlighted in the moonlight.
"You're so pretty, Moon-ah," he said dreamily, before settling his head back into the sand and staring up at the stars and the almost full moon. He sighed contentedly as they lay in the sand.
"Promise me something, Moon-ah?" he said softly into the star lit night. At his best friends hum, he continued. "Promise me, we'll always be best friends. Because I can't imagine my life without you in it." Hoseok turned over abruptly, jostling Moon then so he was on his side, looking down at Moon, a rare serious look on his drunk face.
"Promise me you won't leave me alone, Moon. Promise me, I can't do any of this without you."
