THREAD: Paine & Ailee
Who: Paine & Ailee When: Friday Feb. 10th, evening, 7pm Where: It's a secret. (But its outside town) What: Paine takes Ailee outside their comfort zone to see what happens.
He wasn't exactly sure what it what it was that made him text Ailee after he got a text from the guy who was putting together the race this weekend, with the the location and time. Normally he'd just go and see her tomorrow, when the adrenaline wore off and the demon part of him wasn't at the foreground. Paine couldn't explain why he didn't want Ailee to be around with the demon side most dominant. Maybe he was afraid he'd fuck it up.
However a few texts later and she was getting ready, while he did the same. He put on a pair of fitted black jeans with rips and zippers, a black tank top, with an assorted collection of necklaces, things the demon side collected, usually off people he raced and beat. It was now a ritual that all drivers wore a necklace when racing Paine. If there wasn't a necklace, another piece of jewelry was taken. He wore them all as he put on the black leather jacket with heavy gold metallic embroidered stitching "스피드 악마" which translated to The Speed Demon. A pair of dark black sunglasses hid his eyes, which were currently a gold that wasn't quite human . A pair of black gold studded leather fingerless gloves were added and then he was out the door, sliding into the new project car he'd just finished. He had started it for Riku, but it hadn't been finished when he died in the attacks. Paine had finished it a few weeks ago and had offered it to Riku's brother Xiah, but the other young man said he was sure Riku would have wanted Paine to have it and race it. After all, it was already paid for. So Paine tweaked the car to give it more racing add-on's.
She came to life with a soft purr and Paine smiled as he slid her out of the garage and onto the road that lead back to school. The Maserati drove like a dream, every move effortless, but for how much she was, he expected no less. Nalili was his first love, but damn this lady was a goddess among cars. It wasn't long before he arrived and he texted Ailee to meet him out front of her dorm when she was ready. Parking the matte black sports car at the entrance, he slid out of the custom interior, to lean on the passenger side door while he waited for her. Lighting a cigarette as he waited, Paine inhaled and looked up at the clear night sky. Normally the halfbreed didn't smoke, but when the demon was in charge, he tended to do more things he didn't normally do.
