McKinley & Kennedy - The Great Hall
Kennedy's arm tightened around McKinley and she leaned all her weight on her sister. It was Kennedy's words telling her she would be okay, that they would get out that McKinley clung to as hard as she clung to her purple haired twin. They couldn't go out like this.
She gasped as someone fell into them in their rush to get to safety, jarring her roughly sending searing white pain through her. Stars danced on the edge of her vision and the darkness that edged around her peripheral felt welcoming. Quiet. It was Kennedy's voice that again cut through that as she said something about a door.
That was when McKinley's world tilted, her head spinning and her legs gave out and she fell, pulling her sister down with her onto the floor.
"Kennedy," she whispered, as her face contorted in pain. "You have to get out of here. You have to save yourself." Everything felt fuzzy to her and the darkness kept edging in, welcoming her.
"Promise me," she breathed. Eyelids fluttered and she fought to stay awake as she grasped at her twin's hand. A familiar handsome smirking face floated through her mind and beckoning her to him. "Tell Jasper..." she trailed off as she fought the warm darkness that was trying to swallow her whole.
