Clarissa & Malachi | Hallways
"I practice ground take downs all the time. You’re just not normally around for that." she told him with a wink. She really shouldn’t be teasing him like that right now. They were in the middle of a very bloody fight, not that that phased either of them. She shouldn't have said it though because now she was thinking things she really shouldn't be. And of course she followed that up by removing some of her clothing. It was definitely not helping.
Clary tried to suppress the smirked that crossed her lips as he held a finger up to tell her to wait. She waited patiently for his attention to return to her. It did after he quickly dispatched his attacker. It was her turn to mock surprise as he tossed her skirt aside after using it like a rag.
"Normal girl clothing is usually impractical. It keeps us from getting too uppity." She smirked as she spoke, her teasing obvious on her face. For the Wrath Nephilim there was no sexism. It was perfectly acceptable and expected that she would be as excellent as a warrior as any man.
"You take right." she told him as she moved to towards the left of the hall. It was rely just a place for them to focus as the two of them moved like a choreographed danced, easily switching sides and weapons as needed. As the moved down the hallway it was becoming more and more obvious that the damage done to the school and the students was overwhelming. She had lost the internal count in her mind of dead students in the halls and as they approached the great hall the concentration was increasing. This attack would be devastating.
Clary broke their coordinated attack when she heard a voice she knew. Fabian had been causing a hell of a scene and seemed to want to draw all the attackers he could to him. But he couldn’t fight like she could. Clary jumped in to that fight. She was not going to let them kill her friend.
