Clarissa & Malachi | Hallways
The plan had been to have dinner with some of her friends. Her school friends really. Clarissa did an excellent job of blending in with the rest of the student body. They weren't supposed to know that she was anything more than a regular student. She played the part well, keeping her permeant marks hidden. She was dressed far more girly than she liked but it fit the role. There was a breeze in the hallways as she walked to the great hall with her friends. Her long asymmetrical skirt flowed gently behind her as she moved. Clary smiled at one of her friends as she tossed her hair over her shoulder.
They weren’t far from the Great Hall when an explosion rocked the hallway. The explosion and smoke coming from the great hall was momentarily disorienting but she recovered quickly. She was the first one back on her feet. Clary was no longer in the role of student. Her green eyes darted around the area as armed men spilled from the doorway.
Clary moved with trained speed as she pulled her Steele and her dagger from her bag. Clary was always armed. She applied a few temporary marks to her skin in addition to the permanent ones. Then it was time to fight. She didn't hide her ability to fight as she moved quickly taking down the attackers. If she could help it they would not hurt another student.
She turned towards a cry of pain to see a man holding a girl, a younger student she didn’t know. Clary didn’t hesitate. She slammed him with all her natural strength and the strength of the marks. She knocked him away and herself to the ground under his feet.
