Who: Az and Romeo Where: Romeo's Dorm When: April 28th, early evening What: Az wants to meet her brother and to tell he has another sister Rating: Lowish, minus language
Az had to force herself to take every step as she moved through the hallway. It wasn’t the first time she had made this trip but that didn’t make it any easier. It felt like it was getting harder actually. She had been at Mystic Veil for a bit over a month now and it had probably been the best time of her life. She could was able to be herself and people accepted that. The one thing she hadn’t accomplished was the reason she was here. She had yet to talk to Romeo and Francesca. Not out of lack of trying. This in fact would be her 3rd attempt to have this conversation, not including the two steps she had taken towards talking to Francesca. That was all she needed to realize that she would be far better off talking to Romeo. She had chickened out the last time she tried. Approaching someone like Romeo Rigotti was not easy even more so considering the topic she needed to discuss. But the longer she waited the harder it was going to be.
She took a deep breath as she pulled her leather jacket more securely on her shoulder. She still hadn't figured out what the hell she was going to say. How did you tell someone that your father had had an affair with their mother and their father wasn't who they thought it was and they had another sibling? There was no way to plan that conversation but the Rigotti twins were the only family she. Besides, she was pretty sure as long as Romeo could accept her as his sister he would have no problem with her. She could only assume that since Francesca accept Romeo, she would accept her too. She had however brought a music track with her just in case she froze and didn’t want to look like an idiot.
The music was another of the amazing things of Mystic Veil. As much as she had toyed with remixing and producing music before she could never afford the programs she had access to know. It was where she spent the majority of her free time. It was also apparently a great way to make friends, something she had learned after an afternoon of working with Trey.
Az hesitated as she reached Romeo's dorm. The different scenarios played through her head, some good and other not so great. Forcing the thought of disaster aside, Az knocked on the door. All she could do now was hope he wasn’t busy. She wasn’t sure she would be able to get the courage back up to make that walk again.
