Thread: Chess and Zeus
Who: Chess and Zeus Where: Her room When: The start of the storm. What: Getting snowed in. Rating: TBD
Zeus didn’t have any particular aversion to snow other than that it tended to trap people in and make them miserable. There was one lovely lady he wasn’t going to let the storm dampen the mood of, Francesca Rigotti. His plan aided both of their moods as being with her made him happy, more than happy enough to weather a snow storm. Though it was unclear their relationship other that suitor and attractive lovely lady, but that was okay, Zeus didn’t mind wooing such a beautiful woman and he was positive his plan would brighten her day. And his other plan for once the snow went away may clarify their relationship, but that was a concern for another day.
And worst case scenario if she didn’t want his company he’d simply give her a wonderful meal and take his leave. Zeus was a gentleman and gentleman didn’t force their company onto ladies, especially not this lady. He knew he was smitten with her and it didn’t concern him one bit, for only a fool wouldn’t become smitten with her.
He’d spent the day cooking, having opted not to attend his one class of the day and written it off as a Guardian day. The weather bureau had known the storm was coming but the degree was unexpected. By the time he left his dorm building backpack, side bag and foil trays in tow it had already blanketed as far as he could see and was up to his ankles. By the time he reached her dorm building it was up past his knees.
He shook the snow off of his Italian leather shoes and out of his hair before progressing up the stairs. He readjusted the lapel of his jacket and ensured his jacket was sitting properly before he knocked. He knew he looked a little dorky with a backpack on over a suit and his hair wasn’t as neat as he would’ve liked but hopefully that wouldn’t matter too much.
