Thread: Katryn and Theo
Who: Katryn and Theo Where: Her Room When: Starts before the snow storm, but continues once the school becomes snowed in. What: Couple time Rating: TBD
As soon as the storm warning was even suspected Theo had gone into preparation mode, he’d made three snow packs full of everything one would need to survive being snowed in- candles, blankets, food, water and so forth. He’d then dropped them off to Kanye and Kiera’s rooms, they may not be his charges but they were important to Katryn and that meant they pretty much were his charges too. They were her favorites; a twin and a little brother, this special affection towards them cemented their importance and keeping them alive and well was as important as looking after Katryn herself. After making sure their windows and vents were secured from drafts he left them with a polite bow, taking his leave. He was sure they found him odd and he found this concerned him but ever the unemotional Knight that he was it didn’t show. But it did nibble at his subconscious, one day he may very well go to Kiera and Kanye for their blessings in his union to Katryn and it would be nice if they gave them contently and freely knowing he was a good person, not just a servant. He pushed these thoughts away as his boots hit the snow again; these concerns were not concerns for today and therefore did not have to be dealt with at this time.
By the time he’d managed to snap his head back into the here and now he’d already made his way across campus towards the most important thing in the entire world- Katryn; his bonded charge and soul-mate. He was laden down with supplies as he climbed the stairs and finally made it to her door, hair covered in freshly fallen snow and boots squelching a disgusting sound that had to be rectified before he even considered announcing his arrival to her. He adjusted his coat and smoothed over his pants, he nodded with satisfaction over his appearance; having not noticed the flakes in his hair. With said satisfaction having been personally granted he knocked three times on the door and announced himself, “Princess Katryn, it is I, Knight Duartes.” A little on the informal side since he didn’t use his first name, but it was quite a mouthful and he figured should anyone be listening they’d accept his introduction as formal enough, there was not another Knight Duartes in any court.
He stood silently watching out of the corner of his eye as a couple all but fell over trying to kiss and walk at the same time. His attention was drawn back to the door in front of him as it began to open.
