THREAD: Audrey & J.A.
WHO: Audrey & J.A. WHEN: January 23rd around 5pm- Jan. 24th. WHERE: J.A.'s dormroom WHAT: Audrey goes to see her ex-boyfriend to get some closure and return some things. They get snowed in. RATING: It will get PG.
After her heart-to-heart with Kellan, Audrey knew she had to do something. She couldn't continue this way with James Ashton. It was tearing her apart. She had gathered the things that meant the most to her, things J.A. had given her over the course of their relationship, mostly jewelery, and a few shirts of his that she had never given back. It was time to let it go. He was dating someone, a lovely girl that Audrey very much liked, even though she knew that J.A. would never love the girl as she wanted. The siren made her way through the beginning of the snow storm, with her dog Lady, in tow. Her red vintage coat kept her warm in the cold wind and snow. As she slipped into the entrance of Zeno's dormitory, she shook the snow from her coat and white blonde hair which was styled in her normal vintage style. She checked her make-up, the red lipstick and black winged eyeliner, in the reflection of a mirror at the entrance, before she made her way to where she knew J.A. and Chester's shared dorm was.
She smoothed out her hair and coat before she knocked on J.A.'s door. She wasn't sure if he was alone, but she sure hoped Priscilla wasn't there for this. It had been over a year and a half since she and J.A. had officially broken up, there was really no way to explain why it had taken the siren this long to let go of these things. When the door opened, J.A. was the one who opened the door and he looked momentarily surprised to see her. She smiled at him, and couldn't stop herself from smoothing back her hair again, even though it hadn't moved, out of nervous habit.
"May we come in?" she asked softly, indicating the well behaved dog beside her. The dog,an English Cream dachshund puppy he'd given her as a puppy, sat beside her, panting in excitement. When he nodded and moved out of the way, Audrey stepped inside and removed her black leather gloves. Lady followed her, then sat beside her waiting as she took off her red coat, and put the coat and gloves on the hook beside the door. She turned to J.A., smoothing out her white sweater. Looking up at him, she was silent for a moment as her pale blue eyes met his. Being so close to him made her want to just throw herself into his arms. They hadn't been this close since that night with Lia.
She looked away and smoothed out her red skirt, before she looked back up a him from under her dark lashes. It was so hard not to tell him how much she missed him, ached for him. "I thought it was time we had a real talk," she finally said, as she held the plain white box in her hands, full of things of his and theirs. Blue eyes looked up at him and for a moment she was at a loss for words from the force of their feelings passing through their eyes.
Turning away from him, she took a moment to collect herself as she spoke again. "I have some things I need to return to you."
