JULY & SHANNON | AFTER MIDNIGHT
July was in the middle of a particularly enthusiastic dance move, having found nobody to bother in her search, when she sensed someone watching her. Opening her eyes to see him looking at her shirt, she quirked an eyebrow at his words. Most girls would have been embarrassed maybe, having been caught in the midst of dancing without a care, but not July. She also wasn't sure how she felt about him trying to name-drop, essentially. Even if it was quite tempting to think about meeting Robert Pattinson. Getting to talk to him, sit in a room with him, ask him about Twilight things...
Snapping herself out of her fantasy, July was grateful that her face was so often screwed in resting bitch position that it tended to stay there. "I kind of already did," she replied, crossing her arms a bit to try and stave off her internal fangirl. "I was asked to do a song on the soundtrack. Though I only got about five minutes with him." She hoped her face didn't look too crestfallen at the memory. The guy offering was cute, if she allowed herself to admit such a thing and not just write it off as needing to get laid, but she didn't want to give in so easily to his line.
Unfortunately, his line had hit her straight where it worked best.
After a few long minutes, during which July was pretty sure she failed at looking disinterested, she finally couldn't help herself anymore. "Do you really know him?" she said, hoping she didn't look as pathetically hopeful as she felt.
