TYRESE & AARALYN | AFTER MIDNIGHT
This type of party, while certainly one of the hottest she'd ever been to, was not new to Aaralyn Knowles. She wouldn't quite say she liked to brag, but she was definitely no small time amateur act anymore. VIP were letters practically part of her name at this point, though she only brought it up if someone needed to be reminded of their place. So it wasn't surprising when Romeo's invitation came. In fact, Aara had been planning to go even before the official word had reached her. It also was no surprise when Kanye asked if she would go with him, though she knew better than to classify this as anything romantic or statement-worthy. She knew what Kanye and her were, and she liked the arrangement. There was nothing wrong with meeting ones needs, even if it was with a good friend.
Aara hadn't agonized over her outfit like others might have. She'd chosen to simply wear fishnets the slunk over her shapely legs and ass, fitting to her waist more than normal ones might have since she wasn't planning on wearing anything to keep them up. Instead, she'd chosen a bandeau styled top that covered what needed to be covered with bands of cloth and pretty much nothing more. Leaving her toned stomach exposed was entirely on purpose, as Aara was truly an island girl at heart. The less clothing, the more comfortable she felt. After putting on a pair of stiletto-heeled booties and doing her hair long and silky and red, she put her mask in her purse and headed off.
Once there, she and Kanye mingled and danced, but once he spotted Roxanne Cristalle, Aara knew where this night was going. She'd just finished changing out of her outfit for her performance and returned to him when he asked if she minded if he took care of some 'personal matters'. Aara had laughed and told him to have fun with his fairy princess before kissing him on the cheek fondly. She'd have a talk with him about it later. Right now she was too busy having a good time to scold anyone. At least not anyone she cared about.
The guys who took shot after shot at her, however, were a different story entirely.
Waving her hand in a dismissive motion as yet another attempted to get a dance, Aara didn't even pause her movements to watch him go. Her body could move fluidly and sinuously with any beat, another byproduct of her upbringing she'd always figured, and now was no different. The long straight waves of her hair moved with her, as if made of water, and the swinging was quite mesmerizing. Or at least that's what she'd been told by more than one uncreative suitor. Aara couldn't be bothered with those who didn't have ingenuity, whether it was her personal or professional life didn't matter. So when she sensed a presence beside her again, she nearly growled. Couldn't a girl just dance in peace anymore?
The silky drawl, however, piqued her interest despite herself. Turning her head slightly so she could see who had spoken, she found herself smiling. The way her lips quirked wasn't a full blazing grin, but her green eyes hinted at the interest. His line was good, his body even better, and it was clear by how long he'd already been standing there that he was doing better than most had tonight. "It is tiresome how few know the proper etiquette nowadays," she mused, her own island accent melodic as amusement amplified her already musical voice.
"I see you came prepared. Though I assume you want me to share?" Her head cocked as she regarded him, much like a predator would prey, though she still didn't wave him off.
