WHO: Rain and Cammie WHEN: October 20 WHERE: Campus and then who knows. WHAT: Date Night. Or something equally romantic. RATING: TBD OPEN: HELL and NO
There had been so many things going on recently, what with their university being destroyed and almost an entire student body moving to Canada, that Rain had kind of lost track of himself in the uproar. Between his family obligations, reuniting with his brother and sister, keeping Eirian in line with how hard she was taking the destruction, he hadn't had much time to stop and just remind himself why he was juggling so many things at once. All he wanted was to keep Cameo safe. Terranox had been a moment of clarity, a rude wake-up call reminding him how quickly he could lose everything (and everyone) he cared about. Rain didn't do well when things were out of his control, so he'd busied himself in the days before and after the move making certain he controlled as many variables as was possible. Unfortunately, as a result, he barely had time to sleep or feed, let alone have any privacy with his soulmate.
That was something he intended to remedy this very night.
After ensuring he had everything squared away, and that his brother would let him know if anything happened with Eirian, he headed to Cammie's room without a second thought given to all the worries he normally carted around daily. Rain had ensured he looked respectable before picking up the bouquet he'd ordered, but still felt a bit of those jitters as he knocked. Smoothing his sandy hair, he pondered why this felt like their first date all over again. Maybe it was because they had been through so much lately that something so normal felt out of place, or wrong. Like he shouldn't be allowed this small moment of peace. Pushing the thought aside, he knocked again, hoping Cameo hadn't gone somewhere for the evening.
