THREAD: RIONA & KWAN
WHO: Riona & Kwan WHEN: Friday, October 16th; around 8pm WHERE: A little chalet in the mountains, about two and a half hours from Mystic Veil WHAT: Kwan and Riona have a little alone time to try to repair their relationship RATING: It'll probably get high. I mean look at them, they're so stupidly hot.
Riona had literally just arrived at school, a couple weeks later then most of her peers due to visiting her family, when Kwan had appeared. He had been waiting for her. The two hadn't been together all summer, both off promoting their own projects, he with BIGBANG and she with Ryun for TROUBLEMAKER. The video had been released at the beginning of the summer, after over a year of delays, to an astounding success. It was the first thing Riona had been able to release since her health issues had become more apparent and truly that was due to Ryun being privy to the nature of her disease. Still, he didn't know all the details, that she was a kitsune and the disease was due to not eating human hearts. But he knew it was a hereditary thing and that it was very serious. All summer he had been at her side, supporting her when she needed it, making sure she didn't skip meals, and took all of her meds, thing she knew she would have let slip if it had just been on her. Kwan had kept in touch, sending her gifts, flowers, messages whenever he could. They still weren't back together, not exactly. Riona was keeping him firmly at arms length, but that hadn't kept the half demon bad boy out of her bed before the summer break.
And despite all her resolutions to cut Kwan Liang out of her life, when he stood up and walked to the car dropping her off, obviously waiting for her arrival, she could feel the resolve slipping through her perfectly manicured fingertips. And the smile he gave her still made her weak in the knees as it did to so many millions of fans all over the world. He took her bags with that wicked grin and told her she looked great. Riona glanced down at the casual look she was wearing and then back up Kwan. She thanked him softly and tucked her blonde hair behind her ear and picked up her lightest bag. Kwan reached out and took it from her, that smile on her face. There was no way she was letting him take her back to her room, she decided. That was asking for trouble. But trouble apparently was her middle name, because while he didn't take her back to her room, he did sweet talk her into going to a cabin a few hours away with him. The little kitsune had argued with him for a few minutes, but when he dropped the playful flirty act and asked her seriously and sweetly to please give him a chance to prove how sorry he was, to give him this weekend and if she still didn't want to be with him, he'd leave her be, she gave in. She wasn't sure she believed him that he would back off, but she would hold him to it.
That was how, after two hours of Kwan driving a pretty black car and the two of them talking and laughing, reminding her of their own amazing chemistry and how much fun they had together when all the distractions were subtracted, they had arrived at a charming little private chalet, he told her was a friend's. It was a quaint little one bedroom sanctuary tucked in the mountains. Riona couldn't help the smile on her lips as she walked around the quaint little place. Kwan dropped their bags in the bedroom and she explored the living room, and attached kitchen. She paused in the kitchen, opening the fridge to find there was indeed food already in there, all her favorites. Kwan had indeed put a lot of thought into this. Grabbing a piece of fruit from the fridge, she let the door close and turned around to find Kwan had come back into the room. She as still wearing her hat and jacket and she took a bite of the juicy red apple as she walked back towards him. She looked up at him with pale eyes as she chewed thoughtfully. Taking another bite, she walked past him back into the living room. With her free hand she took off the blue knit hat and stuffed it into the pocket of the jacket she still wore. As she took off the heavy jacket, she tossed it on the small chair nearby where his was. She still didn't say anything as she kicked off her sneakers and sat on the black couch in her slim fit black jeans and loose white tee shirt. She continued to eat her apple in silence, but it wasn't loaded or uncomfortable. She was still hurt by Kwan sleeping with Orika, but mostly it as because it was Orika. And it felt like that was just one more thing for the bitch to have over her. She could tell Kwan was truly sorry and he cared about her or he wouldn't have kept trying to win her back. Truth be told, she was using his indiscretion as an excuse to keep him back at arms length.
Love was a strange thing to her. She knew she still had strong feelings for both Kwan and Ryun, but they were different. Kwan was probably her first love. He was the first man she had let into her heart, the first actual relationship she'd ever had. But life was complicated, it always was. Finally she spoke, raising pale eyes to Kwan's dark ones. "This is a gorgeous place," she complimented him.
