THE HANG OUT AREAS | CRIS & JEWEL | 7:30PM
The longer she got him talking, the more Jewel was beginning to think he was calming a bit. It wasn't until he heard him snort, more than likely in amusement at her attempt to ease some of his embarrassment, that she was alerted to the possibility that he might have backpedaled. She could see the shape of him flailing a bit as he coughed, presumably pounding on his chest, which caused her brows to furrow in concern. "Are you alright?" she asked, resisting the urge to giggle. He was just so jumpy.
"Yeah. Not many people want to talk to the weird blind chick," she answered with a shrug. Jewel's tone didn't hit as self-deprecation, more of a matter-of-fact sort of thinking. "Nice to meet you, Cris, even if it was by less than desirable circumstances." Grinning, she cocked her head to the side a bit, hoping to catch a flash of color to signify whether her joke had embarrassed him or not.
