Willa pulled the pot of stove as she smiled at her uncle. She had to pause to consider his question. "I hadn't thought about having a party. We could though!" she smiled. as she added the sauce in the pot to the bowl of pasta she had on the counter. She shrugged before she added, "I don't really have any friends to invite though, so invitations are up to you." She wasn't even aware of how sad it was that she hadn't really made any friends in the time that she had been here.
She turned again to push the completed pasta dish to the side of the counter. "Don't parties need a reason to celebrate? I don't really have any specific reason. Cooking just makes me feel better sometimes." Willa's experience with parties was pretty nil but she was pretty sure they usually went with a cerebration of some kind. As she spoke she pulled another bowl out of the fridge. This one was filled with icing.
"I made the lemon berry cupcakes that my mother used to make. I remembered that she taught me the other day." She pulled the set of cupcakes off the cooling rack before she started to ice them. "She told me they were your favorites. Do you still like them?"
