THREAD: CHESTER & KIELY
WHO: Chester & Kiely WHEN: Tuesday, June 24th, 1AM WHERE: The Skate Park at school WHAT: Chester drags Kiely out to skateboard after he and Kali break up. RATING: Low.
Chester couldn't stay in his room after the fight with Kali. He had already grabbed his board, the bottle of Russian vodka and his one hitter and left the room. Technically there was a curfew on the campus in effect still, but it had been much more lax lately and was more about getting ONTO campus and not hanging around after dark. It would be pretty hard to crack down on loitering around with students who had to take night classes. He passed a few people as he texted Kiely, asking the little blonde if she wanted to come out boarding with him. Things between them wasn't perfect, but he had been trying. And part of that might have had something to do with Kali's jealousy, that he had been trying to fix things with Kali and not with her. Chester didn't see it that way, but he wasn't the Salem girl with her own subscription's worth of issues. He texted J.A. as well to let him know about this break-up before Gossip Bitch blew it all up.
Finally he made it to the skate park and settled himself at the top of the half pipe, plopping down against the railing away from the edge and taking a long swig of the expensive Russian vodka before he texted Kiely back. As he waited for her answer he packed his two hitter and took a drag of that. His phone went off again and he picked it up, to answer J.A.'s text and then Kiely's. He was just taking another hit of the sweet smelling weed when Kiely answered his teasing text about getting any. Her answer made him choke on the smoke he was in the process of exhaling. After a coughing fit and tears coming from his eyes he managed to text her back, his disbelief of her not getting any.
A few texts later, a few sent out to Leif as a back up plan because the fae did not want to be alone, and then he was sighing and putting his phone down. The little blonde would either show up or not. Feeling the wonderful buzz from the pot he smoked he grabbed his board, took another gulp of expensive vodka and dropped into the half pipe. He had a second of thinking that Kali would be pissed that he wasn't skating with his helmet and it hit him with a weird pang, which was quickly covered with anger at what had transpired. When people would ask him later, he wouldn't be able to tell them who broke up with who, or who ended it. It was all kind of a blur, they had been eating popcorn and watching a movie and then a comment was made and it just escalated. And then he had said it. "If its all so fucked up then why are you even trying?" And she had turned to him and looked at him with those beautiful turquoise Salem eyes and said softly, "I don't know." And he stared at her in silence for a moment. "Then just stop." And she left. She turned on those designer heels and walked out the door, leaving him alone with his inner demons.
As these thoughts moved through his head, he was unaware of anyone else joining him at the skatepark as he hit a trick a little too hard and tumbled down into the concrete half pipe, skinning his knee and slamming his ankle into the edge of the half pipe. A hiss of pain escaped his lips and a string of curses as he came to a skidding halt in the center of the bottom of the half pipe.
