The longer she was surrounded in the darkness, the more comfortable Tori felt. It was nice here. Easy. Whoever was hurting her clearly didn't have jurisdiction in this black place. Idly, she thought how ironic it was that their dark clothes seemed indicative to this place they'd sent her to. It was funny, if she'd been capable of humor. As it was, Tori only knew that if she opened her eyes again, the pain would return. If she kept them closed, however, she'd never get to see Ren again.
With a gasp, she wrenched her eyes open against the heaviness trying to keep them shut. Like hell would she let some fashion-challenged assholes keep her from Ren.
A whimper escaped her, ending on a groan as she looked around. That comforting blackness was gone, and Tori wasn't surprised to feel the pain almost instantly. Her whole body seemed covered in it, like a blanket. There was someone beside her, she could sense them, but the pain was making the edges of her vision blacken and shrink before widening out again.
Blinking, she coughed, struggling to move. If they were back for more, Tori wasn't going down without taking one of their faces with her.
