Alex smiled back at the beautiful girl still in that dreamy, almost awake state. He reached out again as she kissed him lightly, trying to press his lips into hers as she retreated and gazed at him with those beautiful, beautiful eyes. There was a small gap between their bodies as was usual, but Alex didn't want any of that tonight. All he wanted was to have a normal night with his beautiful girlfriend, a girl he was pretty sure he was in love with. He hadn't exactly said those three words, not quite, but it was in his songs, the way he looked at her, and how he acted. Gently Alex reached over, his hands finding her hips and pulling her into him , so their bodies were flush together. They were both covered enough and he had been practicing those shielding charms religiously. It was time to test those boundaries.
"Morrissey needs to learn patience," he agreed softly as he pressed his lips into hers. The cat had since given up once Virginia had gotten on the bed and left to clean himself across the room. Alex kissed her gently at first, his concentration on shielding through that first touch. He got nothing. Score one. The half witch leaned into her, kissing her deeply, lips persistent against her, those cookies on the bedside table completely forgotten. His hand slid up to cup her face, the other still lingering on her hip. There was nothing Alex wanted more then to feel all of Virginia's warm skin against his. In all his years, there was never a girl he wanted all of as much as he wanted Virginia. Maybe it was the tension of not being able to have that intimacy that made it so much more intense, but he was betting on something else.
After a few breathless moments, he broke the kiss, the only sound their shallow breathing. They had often gotten to this point, barely touching, wanting more, but neither would make that move out of fear of the consequences of Alex's curse. Blue eyes searched hers and he gently moved a strand of her golden hair out of her eyes. This was the point when one of them, usually Alex, would make a joke about a cold shower or cookies or watching TV. But not this time.
"Do you trust me?" he asked softly, leaning up on one elbow over her. His other hand gently caressed the side of her face.
