Town Hospital 12th of November | Nacola and Lucas | 10 am
"Stop almost getting killed and I won't have to worry," she shot back, though was smiling as she did so. Nacola knew neither of them would ever stop worrying about the other, but they would always tell each other that they didn't need to. It was just how they worked.
Of course Lucas wasn't going to comment on her defense. He never did, and she knew he never would until she was ready. Nacola would have to admit it to herself before she could admit it to anyone else, but just because she didn't say it out loud didn't mean she didn't feel it. She worried everyday whether she was doing the right thing, whether Noel knew how she felt, or worse if Garrett did. Maybe something was wrong with her, though she tried not to fixate on that too much. There were more important things going on than her messed up love life.
"You wish." Having Lucas tease her made everything feel right, and she couldn't stop the smile that spread as she settled back into what felt like some sense of normalcy. Her smile wavered a bit as he made mention of what had happened that night, and Nacola didn't have to ask to know what he meant. "Of course I don't mind." She said softly, biting her lip as she looked at Lucas. There was fear in her eyes, though she knew he would never do anything to hurt her. It was more fear of what those powers had been; what they meant.
