BACKPOSTED THREAD: Jae-Hwa & Rika (AUCTION DATE)
WHO: Jae-Hwa & Rika WHEN: May 16th - May 18th WHERE: An airport, and to Naha, Okinawa, Japan WHAT: Jae-Hwa collects his auction date with Orika. RATING: Likely high. OPEN: No.
For some people it might have been enough to just win the auction date and not collect, but not Jae-Hwa Liang. He might have made his point by winning, but that was just the start. Orika had sparked something in the demon, something that made him keep chasing her, even when it was clear she wanted nothing to do with him. He had played his hand wrong, pushed too hard, and injured her ego, which he should have known would have turned her off. It was a stupid mistake, one he wanted to rectify and the J-pop idol queen wanted nothing to do with giving him a chance to do this. This had left him very little choice but to force her to deal with him and what he knew was between them. the impact this could have on both of them was lost on him, and wasn't even fully aware of why this was so important to him. He was lying to himself by telling himself it was a game, one he didn't intend to lose.
He arrived at the local airport, his management and label having insisted that if he was really doing this date with Orika Ehime that they try to be subtle and not end up on every single tabloid ever. This was probably an impossible task for the two in question, but to avoid the headaches he agreed. Dressed more simple then normal for the ostentatious fashion icon, Jae-Hwa managed to get through the air port with little fanfare. He noticed the paparazzi photographer trying to be subtle, and didn't acknowledge him as he boarded the private chartered plane that Rika had arranged for. Their management had released a statement about their "trip for charity" just in case they somehow managed to be less then subtle.
Making his way into the luxurious craft he didn't remove his sunglasses until he was in front of Rika. He almost laughed at the way they matched completely by accident. He was grateful for the dark lenses so the vampiress couldn't see the amusement in his dark eyes. She looked less then amused. Removing the designer shades, he hooked then onto his plain white, but expensive, white tee.
He almost told her of the paparazzi, and how their matching outfits would appear to fans who knew in Korean culture couple often wore matching type outfits, but didn't. He knew it was too early to tease her. Instead he went for sincere even if she wouldn't believe him.
"Thank you for showing me your home, Orika-san," he started. "I am looking forward to seeing where you grew up." She would probably take it as him mocking her, but he wasn't. He also was wondering if she had chosen the weekend of his birthday on purpose hoping he would have other plans.
