Rei had known Rory for so long that he instinctively knew that, right now, she just needed someone there with her; to comfort her as she let out all of this pent up emotion. It hurt to see her like this because he truly understood the pain she felt. He didn't know what he would do if the roles were reversed and he was told he might not dance again. Somehow he felt that it would be easier for him, and that just made him feel worse.
Once she had calmed, she agreed that he should go and get Heith. He gently untangled himself and quickly went to retrieve her sibling. Let's just say he looked quite frightened by the look of anger that slipped across the older males features. He followed obediently and saw how that look tempered as they re-entered Rory's room. He was thankful that her sibling was there as Rei watched how gently he lifted Rory and placed her back in her bed.
Eyes that were so like his sisters turned to stare pointedly at Reiland, "She doesn't get back out of bed unless she
has
to." He looked back at Rory, "And you and I will talk later. If you need to get up while Reiland is here, you have him come and get me."
Neither were a question. Reiland and Rory had their orders. He waited until Heith left to pull over the chair to her dressing table and took a seat next to the bed. When she apologized, Rei glanced at her curiously, "Sorry? For what, Roar?"
