Roxy hadn't remained at court long. She wanted nothing to do with being fawned over by the servants and her parents hovering near by. She had lied to Adrian last night, told him that her parents had agreed for her to stay in her apartment in Hollywood. It was the first time she had ever lied to her guardian but she couldn't stand the idea of staying at the court a moment longer. Of course Adrian had agreed to take her to Hollywood. She promised she would rest there but she had enough of resting.
It didn't take long for Adrian to receive a call from her parents. They wanted to know where and why they had left the court. Roxy had assured him that she would be fine in her apartment, only a small group of people knew where it actually was anyway. It wasn't even kept in her name. She had no intention of actually staying there though. She had been on bed rest since she had been rescued and she was done. She wanted out. She wanted to explore life in a way she had never done before. She had nearly died in that cabin in the woods and since she had survived, it only made sense that she explore life now. The minute Adrian had left the apartment, Roxy was making arrangements. She pulled a hat over her butchered hair and left for the salon. True she could glamour her hair but she didn't want to. She wanted something drastically different. She felt drastically different. She left there with her hair cleaned up and platinum blonde. From there she went shopping. She was going to a party tonight. A new kind of party.
Hours later she was lost in the crowds of the Hollywood party scene. It wasn't a scene she had ever been a part of but she was navigating it just fine. There were plenty of people that were more than willing to welcome her into the scene. She was quite sure her outfit had something to do with that though. She had no idea how long she had been at the party, No idea what time it was or even any idea how much she had drank since she arrived and she didn't care at all that she didn't know. She was having fun. More fun than she had had in a long time. She laughed loudly as she pulled outside to the pool area by someone she wasn't sure if she knew. She didn't care though. As long as they were having a good time. She danced with anyone that came by her and drank anything she was given. She really didn't care what it was. Which probably explained how she completely missed the commotion at the front of the house and the way more security rushed that way.
