Tylen immediately opened his mouth to chide Thea for disagreeing with him, but he clamped down just as quickly. He didn't want to fight. As much as he wanted to 'convince' her that he was right, he didn't want to make her angry either. They'd done enough fighting since Roiben came along. But wasn't it understandable that Tylen was completely on edge ever since his girlfriend had landed at death's door?
Tearing his eyes from Thea's window, he put the car back in drive and made his way back toward his own dorm. "I don't know. Maddie was so sick of me fucking up that he told me to leave." Turning, he look hard at Thea, "When I drop you off, promise me you'll go straight to my room. Don't wait for me by the door cause it's going to take me a few minutes to park the car and come back."
