Who: Kaleb and Memphis; Dallas, London and Iggy too. (Open to others) When: Sunday Afternoon What: Intervention Open: Depends (Ask Callie) Rating: Moderate- maybe some swearing. Something had gone down in Memphis' life, like Hiroshima down and Kaleb didn't know what the fuck it was. He knew it wasn't something to do with family cause London or Dallas would've known and told him instead of texting him to ask what was wrong. It wasn't band orientated either since they were on cloud nine. He'd concluded after the absence of Storm for more than a day that there was epic trouble in Paradise between them.
He'd come home Tuesday morning after spending another night on Iggy's couch so the couple could have their little romantic rendezvous to find untouched Chinese food on the bench from the night before and Memphis in bed looking absolutely miserable. Kaleb had tried the whole crass-way of asking what was wrong but then soon realized this was serious so he'd dropped his usual playfulness and turned serious. He'd tried everything he could think of, even laying down next to Memphis and just chilling there hoping his friend would open up. Nothing.
That was nearly a week ago. Since then Kaleb had continued to try everything whilst keeping all the concerned parties at bay so they didn't come trampling in and causing Memphis stress or whatever. He was worried though- so worried in fact that he hadn't really left Memphis' side other then to go get their work from classes, clean the dorm room or retrieve their post (Or see Cady for a couple of minutes). He was hanging around Memphis like a bad smell but only because he truly cared for the other guy. In seven days Kaleb had tried everything- bribery, New video games, alcohol, food.. nothing worked. He'd tried being funny, being normal, just being there. Memphis wasn't touching his food, wasn't leaving their dorm room and was definitely not talking to anyone very much.
So Kaleb only had one choice. The Big Guns. Dallas and London, Memphis' siblings. They would be Yin and Yang in their approaches towards Memphis' sadness, depression and whatever else was going on. He'd also encouraged Iggy to come along in the hope that Ig's would know what to do. Kaleb had known Memphis for years and never in their entire friendship/bromance had Memphis ever been like this- he'd been drunk, sad, aggressive, quiet and every other emotion under the sun but never anything this extreme. Kaleb was seriously worried that he couldn't fix Memphis and that he didn't know what to do.
He was perched on the end of Memphis' bed waiting for the others to turn up. He had his lyric book open but nothing was coming to him. His gaze drifted from the empty page to Memphis- "Hungry Bro?"
