Who: Minako and Xiah When: April 4th, During the Storm. What: Him living up to his name, HERO. Freak Storm. Where: Outside then his room? Open: No Minako had had a fear of storms since she was a child. Her Mother often told the story that during the first storm after Mina was born she howled all night, crying for the first time ever and Mina's mother had been unable to settle her no matter what she did and had been so scared that she'd taken Mina to hospital thinking something was wrong. They soon learnt that the storm had frightened her and she'd worked herself up into absolute hysteria.
All her life she'd feared them and even now, as an adult they set her off, it was the one thing that Minako truly feared. She hadn't confided her fear to anyone- only her Mom and Manager, she hadn't even told anyone at Mystic Veil, not even Xiah. She hadn't told him because she was embarrassed of it and couldn't find a right time (or way) to tell him. Minako was worried he'd think she was a child and pathetic.

Minako had been lost in her thoughts wondering around outside with her iPod in her ears and her new melody on repeat- she had a new album set to come out in June and had had Music-block (the musicians version of Writers block), she had the music she was just stuck with the lyrics. So she was out by herself after dinner walking through the gardens. She was so consumed in her thoughts and had the world tuned out- she wasn't paying any attention, not even as the rain hit her skin- it had only been sprinkling. She definitely didn't see the storm roll in until a loud crack of thunder that rumbled through the sky and over her music.
She jumped about a foot in the air and stared up at the sky with her eyes as wide as saucers. She stood there in shock for a moment before she started back towards her dorm in a jog. She got to the door and pushed into it like she normally did but it didn't budge. She thrashed herself against it trying to get it. As fast as the storm had rolled in it had intensified there were continuous flashes of lightening and loud booms of thunder. She tried the next building closest to her but that was locked too and no matter how hard she knocked or how loud the naturally quiet Minako screamed no one seemed to hear her to open the door.
She started to cry as she backed up into a corner and she slid down the wall and hid her head between her knees trying to block out the storm. She didn't mind the rain, it was the thunder and lightening that was frightening her. She tried to do what her Mother had always told her to do- think of happy things and they'd overwhelm her fears. Her mind went to Xiah and their Ferris Wheel ride, his song and his smile. Thinking of Xiah gave her an idea, she pulled her phone out and dialed his number, she could only hope it would work because if it didn't she didn't know what else to do- all the doors seemed locked and she was scared to venture further out into the storm.
She pressed it to her ear but she couldn't hear anything over the storm, so she just started screaming into the phone in panic. "Xiah, help me. Please. I'm outside. I'm stuck. I'm scared" she began to sob, she couldn't help it- the fear was seeping in and overwhelming her again. "Please." It didn't occur to her to text him or be more specific in her crazy ranting. She was around the side of his dormitory building still pressed up in the corner trying to be as small as she possibly could in the hope that somehow the storm would stop and leave her be. She had her head between her legs and was sobbing as the storm continued to rage, she jumped every time thunder cracked fear had her mind jumbled and her rooted to her spot. Minako was praying that this was a freak storm that would pass over soon.
