"Yes, yes it does," he confirmed with a smile. Dallas hadn't forgotten how he had sang to her the first day he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. He hadn't known how else to tell Grace how he felt. How could he ask someone so perfect to be his girlfriend in a normal way? She deserved the extravagant gestures, or at least as much extravagance as he could manage. Dallas knew he wasn't the most charming or smooth guy, so he had to work with what he had. Luckily for him, Grace seemed to like what he had.
Without saying more, he placed his lips on hers again, relishing in the feeling of her being so close. Kissing her always left him feeling heated and breathless, and tonight it seemed to increase tenfold. Dallas wasn't sure if that was because of their anniversary or what, though the thoughts in his head were making him blush as he returned her smile. "I love you too," he said, unable to keep himself from lighting up even more. Having Grace say those words always filled him with warmth, and he pulled her a little closer subconsciously.
"What would you like to do on our most coveted anniversary?" he finally asked, realizing just holding her pressed against him while inappropriate thoughts danced through his head was probably weird.
