Brayden smiled at the sound of the sigh that left her lips. It had been far too long since he had heard sounds like that from her. It was a more gentle sound that he probably ever actually heard. He didn't fight the fabric of his shirt coming over his head. He moved his hands quickly back to her sides. He no longer hesitated to pull the fabric of her T-shirt. It too came off easily and he tossed it to the side without hesitation.
His hands were moving gently over her skin as his lips started to move over her jaw line. God he missed this feeling. The sounds she was making the taste of her skin. Everything. He only stopped when her hand found his face to make him look at her. Her words surprised him. But not because he wasn't ready to hear them but because he had never even gotten a hint that she was thinking them.
"I love you, too" he answered, with a soft smile on his face as he leaned to to place what was possibly the most tender kiss they had ever shared on her lips.
