As Brayden explained that he wasn't trying to get away from her, it was her lifestyle, Em wasn't entirely sure there was much of a difference when it came to the semantics, but she wasn't going to pick at it at the moment. Being in his arms was just perfection and felt like home. She hadn't exactly been a saint since they broke up, but nothing compared to being with someone whom you actually cared about and who cared about you. And it was obvious that both was still true when it came to Brayden and Emilie.
He agreed to call him and introduce her and she smiled at him, looking up at him, having no idea the image that she made with her big eyes looking up at him, so soft and vulnerable. Of course the man in him wanted to make her feel safe and better and while it hadn't been her intention to start anything, his lips were against hers and she melted into him, arching into him readily. Her hands slid up his chest to ball into his shirt, pulling him against her soft body as she arched into him. A soft sigh slipped from her lips at how sweet and tender the kiss was.
It felt so new to her, but it was Brayden and she loved him. Her first instinct was to take control and flip him over and rip his clothes off, but she didn't. Instead she let him keep the control. He had started it after all and she wasn't really sure how to do this, it felt so sweet and real and perfect. As she broke her plush lips away from his, she opened her eyes and whispered, "I missed you so much."
