Sephiroth could have sworn he just closed his eyes for a second. He had been waiting for Zack to get the power flowing to the doors so they could be opened in Mako Reactor 5 and so they could find Hollander and possibly Angeal and Genesis. However, he started to doubt that it had been just a second, because when he opens his eyes he is somewhere new. Although it is similar to Mako Reactor 5, there are those certain details that are off. The tall man turns and presses a gloved hand to the door, examining it. It's different too, he finds. The color isn't quite right. Of course, being a SOLDIER 1st Class. The SOLDIER 1st Class, he does not believe that he could've been 'kidnapped' in the middle of a mission.
".. Hm." He makes a quizzical sound, trying to come up with some explanation for the rather unusual event that is occurring. He moves away from the door, the familiar sound of boots moving across a metal floor echoing through the large room and he makes his way over to the railing, looking down. Had this been Mako Reactor 5, he would've heard Zack fighting below. But there is nothing, only the sound of his own movements as he walks back over to the door that now goes up. Silver brows go up, face displaying a faint surprise that soon fades back into a calmer look as he moves into a hallway that is unfamiliar to him by any standard. It's not in the Reactor and certainly not the ShinRa building.
He steps out, looking in both directions, ready to defend himself should he need to, though he has very little belief that there is something around that could be strong enough to take him down. Of course, he isn't quite so arrogant that he isn't on edge however. Deciding it's best to explore, to look for some sort of explanation to this peculiar happening, he wanders off in one direction, staying alert as he moves along at a quick, though not rushed pace. |
