Clint Barton 1. Testify - Rage Against the Machine - I found it on a playlist made by deaf creators, and it feels like, while he doesn't care enough about the politics of it all, it would feel neat but isn't like a deep enough track that he'd have to seek it out or look up the lyrics. So much as "cool ear vibration" but isn't dumb enough that he'd hate it if he heard it. Plus he figures the Machine is Ultron or sometimes Iron Man :]
Otherwise the windows he can hear in are like 1998 - 2014 (but in marvel math) or like when he was under like 7, so as tempting as it is to have Mambo No. 5 as his favorite song, he's spent way more time deaf than not. I figured stick with this one. 2. I mean honestly probably not, he's got trauma but it just kind of is what it is with him. I don't see him getting trapped by that. 3. Kate might? She's probably seen his Zune that he has sometimes which is kind of a weird thing for a mostly deaf guy, they may have talked about music at some point. 4. He doesn't have any defenses.
Jon Kasiya 1. Drake - All me. Though I also debated Ke$ha's die young. It's helped a lot to fit characters into specific time frames tbh. 2. Not super likely. I don't doubt he has trauma, but I don't think he's really even conversant enough in his emotion to realize the whole child soldier assassin thing is the kind of thing that could fuck a guy up. He thinks it's weird how everyone else seems to fixate on things tbh. So I guess no unless YES. 3. Probably not, but he does have some playlists on his phone he brought here so it could be figured out. 4. Jon has a decent amount of protective wards on his jewelry since he was actively in hiding before being here, so if it's a power week, he might be ok. Otherwise, yes.
