Tipping his chair back, Harry turned the cooling cup of tea in his hands, continuing to neglect it as he carried it in from the back area. The magic of Fillory was odd and very much unlike what he was familiar with and it left him uneasy. Precisely for that reason, Harry had kept his head down and his magic a secret from the start, politely ducking out of the selection ceremony and from any of the quests that happened after. Harry hadn't been lounging about, avoiding everything however, wasting his time entirely. No, for a great deal of the time he hadn't been lounging at all but flying, surveying the area and having a look around.
Harry had stopped a few times to gather a few things or to speak with locals before picking back up and flying off. His exploration was only cut short at a message he received from Draco, inquiring if he had the time to meet with someone. As of yet, Harry had met only a handful of the others who were caught up in this strangeness and hadn't been familiar with the name, or of Draco's acquaintance besides. Harry felt a pang of guilt at that, at having retreated too far into himself to be sociable and made a promise with himself to be less insular going forward. He wasn't altogether sure when withdrawing had become something of a default for him and that upset him, so meeting with this Fenris fellow seemed a good way to start keeping that promise.
Even without any obvious weaponry of any kind, Harry was a bit intimidated at the sight of the man, the shock of white hair pale enough that Malfoy might have been jealous. It was odd, Harry thought, how often he thought of Draco lately, though maybe it wasn't that odd at all. Now, however, wasn't the time to wonder after that, lost in the whirlwind of complicated feelings and the fluttering of butterfly wings.
"Fenris," Harry called out as he approached, setting his cup of tea down, knowing in his whole heart he was likely to end up leaving it neglected. "My name is Harry. I was told you needed help with something?" That seemed altogether too formal, but Harry was just a bit nervous to be honest.
