Re: PROMPT 2: Kate Bishop (and Loki)
"The flies. The horse isn't swatting them."
She walked up and ran her hand along the backside of the horse to force the flies off its hindquarters. The horse noticed her and gave a short huff, but wasn't aggressive. Kate gave it another few pats before turning her attention to who she presumed was the owner. He didn't seem to notice them either.
"Hey, how come you're not getting rid of the flies? You're gonna end up with open sores of your horses."
The man just looked at her, confused.
"What flies?"
"The ones I just shooed away from your horses!"
"I didn't see any flies."
"Are you calling me a liar?"
"No, but I didn't see any flies."
Kate exhaled, annoyed and frustrated. It was just like Loki telling everyone that they were mistaken about him being dead. She couldn't imagine a reason that Black Widow would say something about it on the network just for him to refute it. It just seemed strange. She growled under her breath. "Come on, let's go. This guy is going to end up with sick horses."
