Maybe on a more "normal" day for a Frost Giant the heat and the layers of clothing would have had Loki melting on the spot. As it was, he endured it without much complaint. More than that, he endured it without even processing it. He merely rolled his sleeves up as a cooling tactic.
"There usually is," he replied to Kate, as he traced a finger along the leather of his holsters. It wasn't really a him style choice to have holsters, but the layering and leather wasn't really un-Loki-like on the whole.
"Nefarious beasties, baddies... around here, I suppose it could be some nature of ominous cactus. Why not? We've encountered stranger."
By the horses was a cloud of flies, whizzing about and seeking food. One flew right past Loki's eyes and he didn't even flinch.
