"If the images are still there..." Chris sighed and shook his head. "Is sleep even worth it? Sorry, I appreciate whatever you might do, just wouldn't want to be trapped in a nightmare. At least awake it's... bearable." Overstatement, perhaps, but such was life. He wasn't the only one here dealing with shit.
He sobered at the comment, knowing that for several people, this was a second chance. Even though Chris knew his fate, he still had time. He clasped Loki's shoulders. "We'll see what tomorrow brings and take it from there, maybe?"
