Lara grinned, she opened to mouth to comment but was thrown off by what she had said about one of her brothers. Lara had repeated what Allison had said to make sure she had heard right. "I can't even imagine what that must be like, some sort of magic mishap? Is he stuck?" Lara had too many questions but didn't want to pry too much into Allison's family. They didn't know each other all that well, but she could barely wrap her mind around having siblings, let alone having one in that kind of situation. Lara had always wanted siblings, even if she did love the life she had with her mother and father. There were times, even as an adult, she wished she wasn't alone, maybe things would've been different if she had a brother or sister.
"You're probably right about that," she took a drink. If things were so serious she probably would've laughed a little more. "I'm glad we can at least do something while we're here. Even if it doesn't pan out the way we would like." She wondered how much they were actually helping, but it was better than, nothing right?
Lara sighed. "I'd still like to know why Derleth planned it that way, definitely seems to be on purpose to me, maybe see how'd both parties would react? Work together?" She groaned, it wasn't like she was going to get any reasonable answers anytime soon.
