Re: IC/OOC: THE MAIN EVENT
"You look really great too," Yelena returns, sounding just a little strained as the both try to fit the entirety of her skirt through a window that seems like it only wants to fit about half of it. "Really good, so if we get to keep these things and - you know what, maybe we worry about this when we manage to get out? That's probably better."
One leg over works until she gets a heel caught in the skirt to the point where she's sure she just at least punched a hole through it trying to get herself loose, and after that it's more flailing than she'd like until the tug he gives the skirt frees her just enough to brace against the ledge of the window to kick herself back. Theirs is probably not going to be the most graceful escape tonight, but once she's managed to get the other foot planted on the ground under her and twisted around to face him, they're at least free of the ballroom.
"Great. Now we... make it the rest of the way. The window had to be the hard part, right?" The hopeful smile she gives him pretty much gives away her not believing her own bullshit right now, but that doesn't stop her from being very ladylike about gathering her skirt up to her knees and tossing the excess fabric over her arm in a heap of green. "Almost there."
