For Molly, his experience with communication is limited to a spell of Sending. So he has no idea what this human is doing with the device, and how it can be used to communicate with someone miles away.
He lets out a strained laugh, regretting it immediately as it causes a shooting pain to echo outwards from his chest. Right, maybe he should be a bit more careful about that until help arrives.
"Well, isn't it my lucky day?" Somehow, he hasn't let this whole thing dampen his spirits -- though it is perhaps more so that he has always used humor to deflect from what is so obviously affecting him. "From all over. Most recently in Wildemount." He narrows his eyes, wondering if anyone in this area would have heard of the company he had been traveling with. "I was traveling with the Mighty Nein." Then again, they didn't exactly have worldwide renown, did they? Still, it's worth a shot, just in case he can reunite with them. Strange how in such a short timespan these people could have become like a family to him.
Not that he would readily admit this to any of their faces.
