Re: KEYLETH - DAY 4 [closed to Hunter & Vax]
As strange as this whole encounter was, it was incredibly endearing the way Hunter became downright bashful at this. She was used to being the one to react in this matter, as everyone else in her adventuring party seemed to be far more courageous (not to mention smooth) when it came to deception.
Before she could reassure him that everything was going to be okay, and that honestly she thought this was all rather adorable, they were interrupted by the appearance of some kind of bird. She raised an eyebrow as she watched them communicate. She had heard of familiars befriending other druids or wizards, but never had the pleasure of being one of the chosen few.
Of course all excitement over meeting a familiar vanished when Hunter mentioned payment. Because Keyleth hadn't paid for anything. She had been just about to insist she pay for it with gold, but apparently the shopkeeper had found payment elsewhere. Maybe it was just a mistake?
"Oh, I didn't...I didn't have a chance to use the few gold I have left from Exandria..." She was confused; how could she pay for things without gold? Even Vex wasn't that good.
