Potentially nothing! Maybe they just let it slip that they were willing to trade something. Fae are slippery like that. Now if you want your character to get a magic item, they could! We'll use the same kind of rules for the D&D plot on magic items. It'll just cost AC if you want your character to keep a magic item, rather than have to make an awkward return for that piece of themselves back.
So, this is a neat alternative to "simply getting their thing back". In the D&D book which inspired this plot, that part of themselves could have been used to create a magic item. Once your character touches the magic item, that part of them is restored. Again, if you want to keep the magic item in question, it'll cost AC.
Here! So you can use D&D items, or if you want to make up your own item, talk to the mod and we'll figure out how much that item would cost. Let's put the same limitations on those items, while we're at it? No making away with 3 artifact level magic items...
Yes. Some characters can make a very normal trade instead. Again, AC to purchase the items. We'll use D&D plot rules, that way those of you newer to the game, those who didn't have AC back then for being a new player, those of you who've brought in new characters, don't have to miss out!
